下面是天大的期刊评级：
为了鼓励管理与经济学部教师及研究生将研究成果在国际高水平期刊上发表，提升学部的国际知名度，同时为了对教师的学术业绩进行评估和考核、对研究生的研究成果进行考评，结合学科发展和国际规范，参考美国商学院前100名研究能力评估的24种顶级期刊（由美国得克萨斯大学达拉斯分校发布，简称UT/DALLAS 24种）、英国商学院协会（the Association of Business School, 简称ABS）出版的高质量学术期刊指南（ABS Academic Journal Quality Guide）和英国金融时报（Financial Times）界定的45种管理类一流学术期刊（简称FT/45），对管理类及相关国际期刊进行界定。根据期刊的学术水平和影响力，参考以上国际规范，将国际期刊分为4级：顶级期刊、权威期刊、重要期刊和一般期刊。分级原则如下：
顶级期刊(Tier 1):
a． UT/DALLAS界定的24种期刊
b． ABS 4星级期刊
c． JCR分区中SCI一区的期刊
权威期刊(Tier 2):
不属于顶级期刊但属于：
a． 金融时报45种期刊
b． ABS三级及以上且为SCI检索源期刊
c． JCR分区中SCI三区及以上的期刊
d． SSCI检索源期刊
重要期刊（Tier 3）：
不属于顶级或权威期刊但属于：
a． ABS三级以上
b． SCIE检索源期刊
一般期刊（Tier 4）：
未进入SCIE/SSCI检索源的以下期刊：
a． ABS期刊
b． 属于Elsevier/Springer/John Wiley/Taylor &Francis/　　Emerald/Kluwer/Blackwell/World Scientific等国际知名出版机构的期刊
c． 管理与经济及相关领域国际一流学术机构的学术期刊
上述一般期刊要有证据表明为同行评议论文期刊（peer reviewed）。
1、UT/DALLAS、金融时报和ABS期刊分类界定的期刊列表均依据最新出版年份确定，详见附录1、附录2、附录3。
2、SCI分区基于最新的JCR分区报告，参见天大图书馆JCR分区检索。
