Job Title: PRODUCTION MATERIAL CONTROLObjective: The PMC is responsible for raw material planning and ordering with the goal to ensure on time shipments to Linak China. The PMC will, together with the Sourcing- and Quality functions improve supplier performance by developing and maintaining logistic- and forecast systems as well as having close contact to suppliers in order to ensure on-time deliveries to LINAK.Main duties and responsibilities (not limited to): Production scheduling based on planned sales orders, forecasts and expectations Plan, order and follow up on raw material from local and international suppliers, based on sales orders, work order, forecasts and expectations Inventory control of raw material and finished goods staged in production area based on defined schedule, keep the turnover in reasonable level Communication with LINAK CN &planner Customer Service and/or defined customers If defined, setting up- and maintaining safety stock on raw materials for production lines If defined, make call-offs (purchase orders) on raw materials based on existing agreements with suppliers Communication with suppliers and freight forwarders on raw material delivery issues Communication with sourcing to solve suppliers issues Work with planner together to shorten in-house production &FG lead timeRequired skills/experience: Good in verbal and written English Min. 2 years experience from similar position, working with production scheduling, raw material ordering (MRP) Experience in direct customer and supplier contact desired Independent and self thinker Good communication and co-operation skills Expert in ERP systems and understanding of these Expert in MS Office systems Friendly and politeThe Production Material Control reports to the Material and Planning Supervisor.
