Why Early Access?
&We're adding and refining new features to Tiny Rails and require community feedback to further refine the implementation of them in the game. We also plan to incorporate social elements into the game for the first time with Steam users in mind, and this iterative process will greatly benefit from the feedback of Steam users. Lastly, Steam players will be able to provide a much greater volume of feedback regarding bugs that may occur as we transition to the PC format.&
Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?
&We anticipate Tiny Rails being in Early Access for approximately four to six months.&
How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?
&Our vision for a full version of Tiny Rails would include all remaining world map areas as playable content (including Australia/Oceania, South America, Africa and the middle east) with accompanying quests. It would also include polished and refined active play mechanics that will have been improved based on community feedback, in addition to bug fixes for issues that appear during development. Social elements will be completed and implemented.&
What is the current state of the Early Access version?
&The current version of Tiny Rails includes dozens of quests and characters, over 100 collectible train cars, over 50 unlockable locomotives and a fully functional gold economy that allows players to earn in-game income by carrying passengers, buying/selling cargo and discovering secrets and achievements. Five world regions are currently playable: North America, Latin America (Mexico, the Caribbean and Central America), Europe, Russia and Southeast Asia (China, Japan, Mongolia and Korea).&
Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?
&Our Early Access price will be determined in conjunction with Valve's best practices, with the final version of the game seeing a slight increase due to the inclusion of additional content and features.&
How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?
&The community will be instrumental in refining the active play features we are introducing in our Early Access version. Players will help us determine if there's enough to do during a game session and whether or not the activities that we introduce are fun. The community will also assist us in refining our social features and identifying potential bugs that can be squashed for Full Release.We have a very active community as it stands and we communicate frequently with our community via Facebook, Twitter and support email accounts. We do daily reviews of player feedback on all platforms and actively respond to as much feedback as possible. We're very excited to work closely with the Steam community to make Tiny Rails the best PC experience it can possibly be as we prepare for our full product release.&

Along with a brand new continent, the update will also include some major bug fixes and the implementation of the Checklist system in North America.
